At The Star School, Republic Day is celebrated with immense pride and patriotism across all grades, from Pre-Primary to Grade 10. This year’s event was a vibrant display of cultural diversity, unity, and the spirit of being Indian, reflecting the ethos of our nation and its Constitution.
Pre-Primary Section
The youngest stars of our school participated with boundless enthusiasm. Dressed as national leaders and freedom fighters, the little ones took part in a colorful fancy dress parade. They sang patriotic songs, recited rhymes, and created tricolor crafts, spreading joy and a sense of belonging to the nation.
Primary Section
Students from Grades 1 to 5 showcased their patriotism through captivating performances, including group dances, skits, and songs that highlighted the values of freedom, equality, and justice. The highlight was a role-play presentation of the making of the Constitution, which educated young minds on the importance of this historic day.
Middle School Section
Grades 6 to 8 brought the history and culture of India alive through thought-provoking speeches, debates, and art displays. A special quiz competition on the Indian Constitution and Republic Day trivia engaged students while fostering a sense of awareness and pride in our heritage.
High School Section
The senior students of Grades 9 and 10 organized an inspiring flag hoisting ceremony, followed by a parade featuring school contingents. The event included powerful speeches, a tableau showcasing India’s journey to becoming a Republic, and an innovative street play highlighting the role of citizens in nation-building.
Closing Ceremony
The celebration concluded with a heartfelt rendition of the National Anthem, uniting everyone in a moment of pride and gratitude for our nation.
