Good and Bad Touch & Stranger Awareness Activity for Pre-Primary

Academic Year: 2024-25

At The Star School, we believe in creating a safe and nurturing environment for our little stars. To empower our pre-primary students with essential life skills, we organized an engaging and informative activity on Good and Bad Touch and Stranger Awareness.

The session began with an interactive storytelling segment that introduced the concepts of safety, trust, and boundaries in a child-friendly manner. Teachers used puppets and animated visuals to illustrate scenarios, helping children identify and differentiate between good touch and bad touch. The children actively participated, answering questions and sharing their thoughts, which showed their understanding and curiosity about the topic.

In the second segment, the concept of “Stranger Danger” was introduced. Through role-playing and games, students learned how to identify strangers and respond appropriately in uncertain situations. Teachers emphasized the importance of saying “No” firmly, seeking help from trusted adults, and remembering emergency contact numbers.

To reinforce these lessons, the children enjoyed a hands-on activity where they colored safety badges and took an oath to stay safe and alert. The highlight of the event was the “Super Safety Shield” presentation, where each child pledged to be their own protector.

This activity aimed to instill confidence and awareness in our young learners while ensuring that the learning process was fun and age-appropriate. The enthusiastic participation of our pre-primary students made this session a resounding success.

At The Star School, we remain committed to nurturing not just academic growth but also the personal safety and well-being of every child.
