Say No to Junk Food Activities 2024-25

At The Star School, we believe in nurturing healthy habits among our students from a young age. As part of the “Say No to Junk Food” initiative, students from Grades 1 to 5 participated in a series of engaging and educational activities during the academic year 2024-25.

The campaign aimed to raise awareness about the importance of healthy eating and the impact of junk food on overall well-being. Students enthusiastically took part in activities such as:

  • Healthy Plate Creation: Children designed colorful plates with nutritious food items using drawings, stickers, and real fruits and vegetables.
  • Storytelling Sessions: Teachers narrated engaging stories highlighting the benefits of healthy eating and the dangers of consuming excessive junk food.
  • Junk Food Awareness Quiz: Fun quizzes tested the students’ knowledge about food choices and their effects on health.
  • Role Plays and Skits: Young performers showcased the contrast between healthy and junk food lifestyles through entertaining acts.
  • Healthy Snack Day: Students brought homemade nutritious snacks, promoting the idea of wholesome eating.

The event concluded with a vibrant poster-making competition where students showcased their creativity, crafting messages like “Eat Right, Stay Bright” and “Healthy Food, Happy Mood.”
